The name of the village is called Ywar Thar Aye. In this village there are 100 families with 500 people. In this village they have two tube-well. And there is no electricity in their tube-well. So we donated a solar pumping system for one of the tube wells. It has 854 feet depth, and the pump is at 530 feet. The pump power is 7.5 Hp and the diesel generator took a gallon of diesel per hour. They pump formally five hours a day with diesel. So, they used 5 Gallons of diesel per day. They distribute the water to the village by pipeline and people pay 900 Kyats per unit. It is around 50 Gallons of water. The village needs 10,000 Gallons per day and now we pump 1800 Gallons of water per hour. And we can pump 5 Hours with our solar system. So, it covers almost the full amount of the water needed from the village. And it saved 6,761 liters of diesel per year and will benefit 6 Million Kyats for the village people. /Min Min
